The hardware routers are reserved for Company and Business customers.
However, they are also shared between customers. Everyone has the option of ordering their own managed dedicated router.
The hardware VPN gateways are reserved for customers with the Company or Business Account Plan. This hardware is dedicated to this service and does not share resources with other services or customers. The network latencies are kept shorter by placing the hardware closer to the major data center nodes of the Internet. Customers thus receive the best possible connection via the shortest route directly into the VPN gateway and thus into their own IT infrastructure.
Would you like to extend this VPN gateway service and use your own hardware? No problem, we can operate a dedicated hardware gateway for you where only you have access to it. This means that any bottlenecks in bandwidth or CPU load are no longer a problem. You also no longer share the connection to the system with other customers.
