Homelab: 2023 Fritzbox Homelab
This is my homelab based on the FRITZ!Box 6690 Cable. I soon want to replace it with a TP-Link Omada homelab, but currently I still use it.
This is my homelab based on the FRITZ!Box 6690 Cable. I soon want to replace it with a TP-Link Omada homelab, but currently I still use it.
As a main router and cable Modem, I use the FRITZ!Box 6690 Cable. Switching is done by an Netgear GS108E v3 8-Port Managed Switch. As a "server", I use a Intel NUC7i5DNKE with upgraded 32GB of RAM that runs Proxmox VE. For experimental services and some tests, I also use a Raspberry Pi 4. This Raspberry Pi has a USB stick for storage, not a SD card.
But many of my homelab services also run in the Hetzner Cloud and are connected to the FRITZ!Box using WireGuard.
As a WireGuard server and firewall for my Hetzner Cloud servers I use a PfSense.
The Internet traffic goes over a Vodafone Cable line with 500 Mbit/s down and 50 Mbit/s up. I use a Pi-Hole as DNS server for ad blocking.
The GL.iNet Mango Router is used for providing a Freifunk hotspot.
